The Ingawanis Endurance Challenge will rock a 10-mile loop of hilly single track through mature forest scenery, including a pine section at beautiful Ingawanis Adventure Base near Waverly, IA.
Hop in for the 10-miler ~OR~ Do as many 10 mile loops as you'd like!
Mass start at 7:00pm. This challenge is Self-Supported!

Ingawanis Adventure Base is set along the Cedar River and boasts a variety of changing terrain from hilly bluffs to mature pine forests. You’ll explore grassy trails along the river bottoms, float through the pines, and grind up and down rocky bluffs.
Start Time – 7:00pm Friday, April 19th (to be eligible for prizes)
(Persons can show up anytime throughout the event’s 29-hour time limit to enjoy the adventure.)
Time Limit –29 hours (Midnight Saturday, April 20)
Elevation Gain – ~1250ft per loop
100mi (10 Loops) = ~12,500ft
The 10 Mile loop will be marked with Red and White Flags on the Right Hand Side of the trail throughout.
There are Two out-and-back sections on the course where you’ll briefly run with two-way traffic to get in and out of a section of the course. These sections will be marked with two-way traffic signage and caution tape dividing the entrance/exit area to keep everyone going in the correct direction.
The trails range from steep & technical to flat dirt single track to rolling & grassy and everything in between. You’ll have a chance to grind the climbs but also roll freely on the bottoms and pasture sections.
Remember - FLAGS WILL ALWAYS BE ON THE RIGHT.
There is one aid station at the Start/Finish area. It will have water, electrolyte drink mix, and an area for drop bag/personal supplies. Participants are required to carry their own fuel/nutrition.
Participants will Sign In on the Race Board and be required to check in and mark each lap throughout the event. On their Final Lap, participants will Sign Out so that race staff can confirm who is finished and who is still on the course.
Participants can show up anytime throughout the 29 hours to sign a waiver and get registered for a loop or a few.
Friday
Parking – There will be parking along the gravel road entrance between the front gate and the start/finish area.
Start/Finish - Ingawanis Adventure Base, Quartermaster Building
6:00pm – Packet pickup/race day sign up
7:00pm – Race start!
Saturday
Course/Sign Up open all day until Midnight for hiking, rucking, running…
This is a fun event to highlight the amazing trail system and area of Ingawanis Adventure Base. Participants can come anytime throughout the 29 hours to explore the course. Come hike, walk, ruck, or run. Bring friends or family and find a wooded paradise you didn’t know existed right here in the Cedar Valley!
